  1. >Reading the State and City briefs without any knowledge of the reality in NYC, you'd think that it would be a relatively easy matter to terminate a tenancy and take your property out of the rental market. I think that the State and City are being disingenuous when they argue that rent stabilization isn't as draconian as the Harmons argue and that it is being phased out. Everyone in NY knows that is a bald faced lie and that the Democrats have no intention of ever letting the RSL pass out of existence. I seriously doubt that the six justices from New York/New Jersey will believe those claims by the State and the City.
